Child guardianship

Special guardianship is a family court order that places a child or a minor in long-term care with someone other than their parents.

Adult guardianship
In France, adult guardianship orders are established to protect the interests of individuals who are deemed incapable of managing their own affairs due to age, illness, disability, or other reasons.
There are different types of adult guardianship order in France.
